Terms of service, in plain language.

1.The service

Hachiflow provides managed hosting for Buzz, an open-source team workspace. We provision and operate a dedicated relay for your team (your "workspace" or "hive"), including the server, storage, backups, upgrades, security patching, and monitoring. Your team connects to it with the Buzz desktop app.

These terms are an agreement between you (the customer who signs up, and the organization you represent) and Hachiflow. By creating a workspace or using one we host, you accept them.

2.Accounts and eligibility

You must be at least 18 and able to enter a contract to open a workspace. If you sign up on behalf of a company, you confirm you are authorized to bind it to these terms.

Signing in with an email on your organization's verified business domain can join you to that organization's workspace automatically. Consumer email domains never auto-join; those users need an invite link. You are responsible for who you invite and for activity that happens under your workspace.

Each subscription covers one workspace. If you need more than one, that is more than one subscription.

3.Plans and billing

Hachiflow is priced as flat monthly tiers, published on hachiflow.com. Each tier includes a user cap, a number of included agents, and a storage allowance; extra agents and storage overage are billed at the published rates. Agents never count as users.

Billing is monthly in advance through Stripe, our payment processor. Prices exclude any applicable taxes, which you are responsible for. If a payment fails, Stripe retries it on its normal schedule; a workspace with an unpaid balance may be suspended after reasonable notice.

Price lock: workspaces created during early access keep their signup price for as long as the subscription stays active, even when list prices change.

Cancellation: you can cancel any time, effective at the end of the current billing period. The workspace stays fully usable until then. We do not refund partial months except where the law requires it.

4.Your data and ownership

Your workspace data is yours. The messages, files, event log, workspace configuration, and cryptographic keys in your hive belong to you, not to us. Hosting with us never transfers ownership of any of it.

We access your tenant infrastructure only to operate and support the service: provisioning, upgrades, backups, restoring from failure, and troubleshooting issues you report. We do not read your workspace content for any other purpose, we do not sell it, and we do not use it to train models.

On cancellation you can ask us for your data and we will hand it over: the database containing your signed event log, your media, your git repos, your workspace configuration, and your keys. This is an operator-assisted handover today, not a self-serve download. Buzz is open-source software, so what you receive runs on the same software we were running for you. After your subscription ends we keep your data for 30 days so the handover can complete, then delete it, including backups.

5.Workspace names and subdomains

Your workspace lives at a subdomain of our domain, like yourteam.hachiflow.chat. The name (the "slug") is licensed to you for the life of your subscription; it is not property you own and it cannot be sold or transferred outside the service.

• First come, first served. Ordinary names go to whoever claims them first, the same way workspace names work on comparable platforms.
• Reserved names. Infrastructure names (like www, api, status), well-known trademarks, and abusive terms are blocked at signup.
• Verified-domain release. A reserved trademark unlocks automatically when your verified sign-in email domain matches it. Someone at microsoft.com can claim microsoft; someone at a consumer email domain never can.
• Trademark complaints. If a rights holder sends a documented trademark complaint about a slug, we review it promptly and may reclaim the slug. Squatting on names you have no claim to is not allowed.

On eligible tiers you can attach your own domain. Your domain remains yours; our only role is serving your workspace on it while it is attached.

6.Acceptable use

Use your workspace lawfully and do not degrade the service for anyone else. Specifically, you may not:

• store or distribute illegal content, or use the service to violate anyone's rights;
• send spam or unsolicited bulk messages from your workspace;
• use agents to harass, deceive, impersonate, or attack people or systems;
• abuse resources: crypto mining, denial-of-service traffic, deliberately evading tier limits, or workloads unrelated to running your team's workspace;
• probe, scan, or attempt to breach the isolation between tenants.

Agent inference runs on LLM API keys you bring. Those keys, the accounts behind them, and the costs they incur are your responsibility and your direct relationship with the provider. Keep your keys within the provider's terms; we scope them to your hive and never share them across tenants.

We may suspend a workspace that is actively harming others or the platform, with notice where practical.

7.Availability

We run each hive on dedicated infrastructure with automated daily backups and a weekly automated integrity check of the newest backup, and we target high availability. Full restore drills are run by our team rather than on an automated schedule. During early access we do not offer a contractual SLA or uptime credits. Current and historical status is published at status.hachiflow.com.

Planned maintenance is announced in advance where possible and scheduled to minimize disruption.

8.Third-party services

Buzz is an open-source project (Apache-2.0) by Block, Inc. Hachiflow is an independent hosting service and is not affiliated with, sponsored by, or endorsed by Block, Inc. Your use of the Buzz software itself is governed by its open-source license.

We rely on a small set of subprocessors to deliver the service (infrastructure, storage, payments, authentication). The current list is in our privacy policy.

9.Termination

You can end this agreement by cancelling your subscription (section 3). We can suspend or terminate a workspace for material breach of these terms, for legal necessity, or for non-payment, with notice and a chance to fix the problem where the situation allows it.

Whatever the reason the agreement ends, the data terms in section 4 hold: your data on request, deletion after 30 days. If we ever discontinue the service as a whole, we will give at least 60 days' notice and keep handing over data for the full window.

10.Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent the law allows: the service is provided "as is" during early access, and our total liability arising out of these terms or the service is capped at the fees you paid us in the 12 months before the claim arose. Neither of us is liable to the other for indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages, including lost profits, lost data beyond our backup obligations, or business interruption.

Nothing in this section limits liability that cannot be limited by law, such as liability for willful misconduct or fraud.

11.Changes to these terms

We may update these terms as the service evolves. For material changes we will email the workspace owner at least 14 days before the new terms take effect. Continuing to use the service after that date is acceptance; if you do not accept, cancel before the change takes effect and section 3 applies as usual.

12.Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Colorado, USA, without regard to its conflict-of-law rules. Disputes will be resolved in the state or federal courts located in Colorado, and both sides consent to that venue. If any part of these terms is found unenforceable, the rest stands.
